On the audio production scene since 1989,with thousands of top-tier recordings with a diverse range of performers to his account. He crafts a unique and recognizable sound, tailoring his style and approach to each artist. Musicians and composers appreciate him for his high standards, attention to detail, and exceptional sense of humor. Working with him guarantees the highest quality of the product, both in terms of artistic achievement and technical excellence. He has collaborated with artists such as Wojciech Kilar, Wojciech Karolak, Andrzej Jagodziński, Adam Sztaba, Zbigniew Preisner, Edyta Górniak, Kayah, and many other stars of the Polish and international music scene.
He has recorded international stars such as Branford Marsalis, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Sting, Natalie Cole, Tori Amos, Pat Metheny, Mino Cinelu, Tomasz Stańko, and many others. He has numerous productions to his credit, spanning folk, jazz, symphonic, and chamber genres, with his favorite boys’ band being Grupa MoCarta 🙂
A graduate of the Sound Directing Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
She has extensive experience working with music and sound in film. She records and mixes film music, having worked for many years in a film studio, handling every aspect of sound work: from cleaning dialogues and soundtracking films and animations to mixing soundtracks and sound design. She has a strong affinity for working with voice, recording vocals, narrators, radio plays, ADR, and dubbing. She collaborated with WFDiF in Warsaw recording synchronous effects for films. She has numerous sound credits for documentaries, short films, reports, and radio plays.
Passionate about theater, she is closely connected with it on a daily basis. She realizes and co-creates the sound layer of many theatrical productions, as well as cultural events such as National Reading. Directors and composers appreciate her ability to solve technical and scenographic difficulties, her care for the comfort of musicians and actors on stage, and her commitment to the beautiful sound of the performance, ensuring the highest level of artistic work.
With years of experience in concert sound engineering, she has worked on everything from small ensembles to big bands, symphony orchestras, to avant-garde productions of Warsaw Autumn. Collaborating for years with Polish Radio, she also produces numerous live concert broadcasts on the airwaves of Polish Radio programs. She has transmitted concerts such as Sting’s from the Witold Lutosławski Studio S1 in Warsaw.
She has extensive studio experience with various line-ups, recording in Polish Radio studios, as well as other studios, concert halls, and religious buildings in Poland and abroad. She has collaborated on film music recordings and mixes with Agnieszka Holland, Wojciech Karolak, and Janusz Majewski. She has worked on album productions for Irena Santor, Alicja Majewska, and Magda Umer.
She has rich experience in sound reconstruction and is proficient in using Izotope RX to rescue and clean audio materials from various disturbances.
Passionate about beautiful spatial sound, she is always close to her heart with all kinds of contemporary music productions in surround formats.
Privately, she is the mother of three little rascals, a former violinist, and a sailing instructor. Music, nature, water, mountains, travel, sports, and good literature… She would like to combine all of this if the day were five or twenty-seven times longer.
