We specialize in music recording from the ground up to the finished product. We excel in recording various genres, including film, classical, opera, folk, and jazz music – essentially, any genre! We simply love music. We cherish excellent sound. Whether we’re recording a solo instrument, a symphony orchestra, or live DJ sets (including the four-time DJ World Champion, Steve Nash!), you’re always in good hands.
Our portfolio boasts a diverse range of productions, from contemporary to classical. We record in studios and concert halls across Poland and beyond. We handle recording, mixing, editing, mastering, CD albums, cinema, vinyl records, and the immersive Dolby Atmos format. There are no limits for us.
We’re proud to have collaborated with artists like Pat Metheny, Branford Marsalis, Makoto Ozone, Anna Maria Jopek, Leszek Możdżer, Edyta Górniak, Kayah, Jimek, as well as acclaimed film directors such as Agnieszka Holland, Andrzej Wajda, Władysław Pasikowski, Krzysztof Lang, and many others.
In our binaural recordings, we use high-quality in-ear microphones, which, in combination with a human or artificial head, faithfully capture the acoustic space of the recording studio for headphone playback. Binaural mixes from multi-microphone setups may (but do not have to) include signals from an artificial head and are produced using the Dolby Atmos Renderer.
The foundation of our immersive recordings consists of specialized polycarbonate structures in the formats 5.0.2 and 4.0 designed for capturing exceptional sound characteristics. The signals from the DPA 4006, DPA 4011, and DPA 4015 microphones used in these setups serve as an excellent basis for the sound image in formats such as 2.0, 5.1, as well as Dolby Atmos 7.1.4.
In the music recording for the film 'Znachor' (2023), we employed our own DPA microphone solutions, enhanced with the best microphones from the extensive resources of Polish Radio S.A. This combination resulted in a unique sound. The stereophonic mix in digital format is available on major streaming platforms, and the 5.1 sound can be experienced in the film when listening in Dolby Digital 5.1 format on Netflix streaming.
We conduct live broadcasts at both large and small artistic events. These are carried out using the best outside broadcasting vehicles (TVP, TVN, 120dB), as well as in the well-equipped control rooms of Polish Radio S.A., utilizing various formats. For instance, the XVIII Chopin Competition was produced in Dolby Atmos and broadcasted worldwide.
At Polish Radio S.A., we produce the series 'To co najpiękniejsze' (What's Most Beautiful). We have handled events such as National Reading and National Playing. We've covered concerts of classical, operatic, oratorio, folk, jazz, and other music genres. We've provided live sound for music stars like Tori Amos, Sting, and Pat Metheny. We've done sound setups at venues like Uppsala Cathedral, Symphony Hall in Chicago, and Carnegie Hall in New York."
Immersive recording techniques allow us to mix in various formats. Every recording we've made since 2022 is virtually ready for both Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos formats. Stereo mixes and binaural mixes for headphone playback significantly enhance the sonic experience for listeners without multi-speaker installations.
